What Parallax Ventures is.
The company is structured as an umbrella for operating businesses rather than a single store or one-product brand.
The first practical focus is e-commerce. The broader mandate gives Parallax room to expand over time into digital services, technology, media and content, and other ventures where the company develops genuine operating capability.
We prefer to publish what is real rather than present plans as achievements. New ventures will be named and described publicly as they become established.
The name
The meaning behind Parallax.
Parallax is the apparent displacement of an object when viewed from two different positions. It is one of the ways depth becomes visible.
That idea reflects how we want to make decisions: by changing the angle before forming the conclusion. Customer perspective, operator perspective, market structure, distribution, capital, and time can each reveal something the others miss.
